# Pingsold

> Pingsold is a startup directory that ranks startups by website traffic read directly from their own analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, PostHog or DataFast), connected read-only, never from screenshots, estimates or self-reported numbers.

- Verification: founders connect Google Analytics (GA4), Plausible, Fathom, PostHog or DataFast with read-only access (Umami and Vercel Analytics are coming soon). Only aggregate counts are read (visitors, pageviews, hostnames, referrer domains), never data about individual visitors.
- Domain check: at least 80% of the tracked pageviews must be on the listing's own domain, re-checked on every sync.
- Updates: traffic is synced from each analytics tool once a day and the leaderboards are recomputed daily.
- Rankings: top traffic (verified visitors over the last 30 days) and fastest growing (month-over-month change), overall and per category. Payment never changes a rank.
- Visitor counts are each tool's own (Google Analytics: active users; Plausible, Fathom and DataFast: unique visitors; PostHog: unique persons), so numbers from different tools aren't exactly comparable.
- Founders get a public profile with verified 30-day visitors, a 12-month traffic chart, top sources, leaderboard positions and a dofollow link once verified.
- Pricing: free listing; Instant listing $29 one-time (skips the free queue, reviewed within 24 hours); Featured listing $79 one-time (7 days pinned); sponsor slots from $99/month (10 slots, the price rises $25 with each new sponsor).
- Founding startups: the first 25 verified startups Pingsold picks get a permanent Founding badge and a free Featured week (display only, never a ranking factor).
